Mark Densel

Mark Densel joined eFFECTOR as Vice President, Program Management in November 2018. Prior to joining eFFECTOR, Mr. Densel was the Vice President, Project Management at La Jolla Pharmaceutical where he established their project management office. Prior to La Jolla Pharmaceutical, Mr. Densel was Senior Director, Project Management at Ardea Biosciences establishing their project management office. Mr. Densel has spent the last 15 plus years in project and alliance management demonstrating proven leadership in advancing multiple drug candidate through all phases of the product life cycle from preclinical to post-launch. Mr. Densel has over 30 years of experience in research and development in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with experience in multiple therapeutic areas. Mr. Densel received a B.S. in Microbiology from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana.
